Description
The United States Navy is seeking a contractor to provide a temporary floating dock system to support the mooring of Harbor Security Boats. The contractor shall provide all necessary materials, equipment, and labor to deliver, install, and subsequently remove the dock system. The work includes freight, delivery, mobilization, providing a lull for material handling, complete installation of the dock system, and subsequent removal of the system upon completion of the security event. The dock system must be fully installed and operational no later than 20 June 2026.
Some key points to consider are:
• The contractor must provide a complete turn-key rental solution for a 770-foot floating dock system with a gangway.
• The work shall be performed at the UPS Bayonne pier, 400 Port Lincoln Rd, Bayonne, New Jersey 07002.
• The contractor shall deliver, install, and remove the following items: DOCK SECTION 60" X 120" BEIGE, DOCK SECTION 80" X 120" BEIGE, COUPLER SET W/ COMPOSITE ROD, Gangway Rental, CLEAT 8" NYLON, Heavy Duty Y-Beam & Offset Mount (7'6"), KIT, 12" TIE-UP CLEAT BRACKET, Delivery, Installation and Removal Service, Lull for material handling, Mobilization of personnel and equipment, Freight charges.
