This RFQ seeks a fixed‑price renewal of software support for the SSAName3 mainframe‑tier applications and IDS legacy software used by the California Department of Technology. The award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and covers a two‑year period (through April 9 2028). The contractor must provide error‑correction, updates, and technical‑engineer assistance for CPU/MIPS‑based licenses totalling up to 14,000 MIPS across four mainframe systems located at two California campuses. Deliverables are electronic software downloads, documentation, and annual support services, with compliance to numerous state regulatory requirements.
• Support renewal for three software products (IDS Legacy Production Premium, SSA‑Name3 Mainframe Tier 6, SSA‑Name3 Mainframe Tier 7).
• License capacity of up to 14,000 MIPS covering four IBM zSeries servers (total 12,485 MIPS).
• Annual fixed‑price payments; small‑business, DVBE, and TACPA preferences available.
• Mandatory electronic delivery, audit rights, and a 30‑day termination clause.
