RFP #26-35-IS ELEVATOR SERVICES

The County of Cumberland is seeking proposals for elevator preventative maintenance and DOL required testing services for its 12 buildings with 29 elevators. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and transportation to perform monthly elevator preventative maintenance and assistance with all NC DOL testing. The vendor must demonstrate experience with public and/or private sector clients with similar or greater size and complexity to the County of Cumberland. Some key requirements include: • Providing a comprehensive Preventative Maintenance program • Performing scheduled monthly inspections, including lubrication, cleaning, and mechanical adjustments of all hoistway equipment, controllers, and pit areas • Ensuring all units remain in compliance with the North Carolina Department of Labor (NCDOL) Elevator and Amusement Device Bureau regulations • Providing 24/7/365 emergency response for equipment failures or entrapments • Maintaining a digital or physical log at each elevator machine room, detailing the date of service, work performed, and the technician's name.
