E2290300 Quartz Creek to Sterling T-Line Rebuild Phase 2

The Chugach Electric Association is soliciting bids to upgrade a 18.5‑mile segment of its Quartz Creek to Sterling transmission corridor from 115 kV wood‑pole construction to a 230 kV steel‑structure system. The contractor will replace existing wood H‑frames and pole‑angle structures with steel H‑frames and self‑supporting steel pole angles, install new 795 kcmil ACSR conductors, and add OPGW fiber‑optic cable with OHGW on the opposite side of each structure. The scope also includes foundation work (direct‑embed, pipe‑pile, or drilled concrete piers), splicing, as‑built documentation, and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
