Description
The Kansas Board of Regents (KBOR) seeks a qualified vendor to provide end‑to‑end student loan billing, servicing, payment processing, borrower communication, reporting, reconciliation, and collection support for loans administered by KBOR. The contract will be awarded to a vendor that can deliver these services using its own or commercially available servicing platform—no custom software development is required. The engagement runs through December 31 2029 with two optional one‑year renewals, and includes both one‑time implementation costs and ongoing annual fees.
• Outsourced billing, statement generation, and payment processing (ACH, credit card, lockbox, etc.)
• Borrower communication (notices, reminders, delinquency letters, portal access)
• Account maintenance, data conversion, and migration from existing systems
• Ongoing reporting, data exports, and compliance documentation
• Collection support and escalation handling
• Optional services such as skip‑tracing, credit‑reporting assistance, and document imaging
• Vendor must provide a secure, compliant servicing environment and assume all related technology costs.
