Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research to identify potential sources for the custom repair and rebuild of an Air-Handling Unit (AHU) at the American Lake VA Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. The work includes rebuilding and replacing the AHU fan assembly and steam heating coil, and all work must be completed in accordance with industry standards, OSHA requirements, and VA safety policies. The contractor will be responsible for procuring and installing a custom-manufactured fan shaft, custom replacement blower wheels, and a new steam heating coil, as well as performing precision alignment and balancing, and testing the system operation.
* The contractor must have experience with custom repair and rebuild of AHUs
