The contract will be funded through Medi‑Cal fee‑for‑service rates, with an initial term of up to three years (potentially extendable to four). Proposers must be certified Medi‑Cal providers, demonstrate capacity to staff 2‑4 clinicians plus a supervisor, provide 24/7 on‑call coverage, and meet extensive reporting, training, and compliance requirements. Budget estimate

$500,000 – $1,200,000

The RFP does not disclose a total contract value. Funding will be based on Medi‑Cal fee‑for‑service rates for MST services. Assuming an average MST episode costs roughly $12,000 per youth (typical for a 4‑month intensive program) and a contractor serves a caseload of 5 families per team, annual revenue could be about $60,000 per team. With multiple teams required to meet county‑wide demand, a realistic contract size for a county‑wide provider could range from $500,000 to $1,200,000 over the three‑year term, depending on the number of families served and negotiated rates. Factors influencing the final amount include the exact DHCS rate schedule, the number of eligible youth in San Joaquin County, and any supplemental incentives or performance‑based payments.
