Furnish and Deliver Meter Housings

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) is seeking a qualified contractor to furnish and deliver polyethylene meter housings to protect WSSC water meters, meter setters, and associated service line components installed within the water distribution system. The contractor must meet the minimum qualifications, including being a manufacturer or authorized distributor of meter housings and having at least three years of experience providing meter housings. The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder who submits the lowest bid price. The contract includes a base term and four option terms, with quantities and unit prices to be specified by the bidder. • The contractor must provide documentation that meets the requirements in the scope of work and bidder's minimum qualifications. • The contractor must submit a pricing proposal, including unit costs and totals for each line item. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. • The contractor must provide a certificate of insurance and comply with the commission's insurance requirements. • The contractor must pay subcontractors for satisfactory performance of their contracts no later than fifteen days from receipt of subcontractors' invoices.
