CAT FLEET PROFESSIONAL DEEP CLEANING SERVICES

The City of Charlottesville is seeking a qualified bidder to provide comprehensive, professional deep-cleaning services for its transit fleet, which includes buses and support vehicles. The successful contractor will perform bi-weekly interior deep cleanings and quarterly exterior cleaning and protective treatments, following all required safety, environmental, and performance standards. The contractor must have at least three years of relevant experience providing mobile cleaning services for transit or fleet operations, and must demonstrate the capability, staffing, and logistical resources necessary to service all designated fleet vehicles in accordance with required schedules and performance standards. • The transit fleet to be covered under any resulting agreement includes up to 55 transit or trolley buses, and up to 15 support vehicles. • The contractor must supply all equipment, cleaning products, and consumable materials, and must use only manufacturer-approved and environmentally friendly cleaning agents. • The contractor must maintain accurate and complete service records for all vehicles cleaned, including date and time of service, vehicle identification number or unit number, cleaning products and methods used, and notes on any damage found or incurred during cleaning. • The contractor must participate in scheduled performance reviews, during which service quality, responsiveness, and compliance will be evaluated.
