OCC-26-177 AES Ohio Cost of Service Revenue Allocation Rate Design

The Office of the Ohio Consumers’ Counsel (OCC) is seeking a Cost of Service, Revenue Allocation, Rate Design and Bill Impacts Expert to provide technical assistance in determining the appropriate cost of service study, revenue allocation, rate design, and bill impacts for residential customers of AES Ohio. The expert will review and analyze materials filed by AES Ohio, PUCO Staff, and other parties, and provide recommendations for alternative cost-of-service studies and revenue allocation results. The expert will also calculate the bill impact on residential customers for various rate design proposals. • The project involves analyzing cost-of-service studies and revenue allocation among customer classes. • The expert will provide technical support for the discovery process and prepare written direct and rebuttal testimony. • The expert will recommend an appropriate cost of service, revenue allocation, rate design, and bill impacts for residential customers. • The project requires substantial experience in evaluating issues related to cost of service, revenue allocation, rate design, and bill impacts. • The expert will work with OCC's Lead Attorney to provide technical support and assistance during the proceeding.
