CITYWIDE VEHICLE WASHING SERVICES

The City of Charlottesville is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide automated car washing services for various City departments. The contract will be for one year with the option to renew for up to five additional one-year terms. The vendor must provide access to interior vacuuming equipment at no additional cost. The scope of work includes washing sedans, SUVs, minivans, and pick-up trucks, and the vendor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. • The contractor must have at least one location within a five-mile radius of Charlottesville City limits that is open a minimum of five days a week. • The contractor's vehicle wash equipment must recycle water. • Vehicle wash shall be staffed and serviced during open hours. • The contractor shall be held liable for vehicle damage incurred during the execution of this contract due to contractor's equipment malfunction. • Available vacuums to clean the interior. • Towels Service or towels available to wipe down the exterior/interior.
