Description
The State of Hawaii, Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, is seeking a vendor to provide one 7-8 passenger van for the Training and Staff Development division. The van must be a 2026 or newer hybrid model, with a 5-door design and a minimum of 17-inch wheels. The vehicle should have a range of standard features, including power door locks, color-keyed outside power mirrors, and a rear parking assist camera. The successful bidder will be required to provide a warranty for the vehicle, as well as manuals and technical bulletins.
* The van must meet all Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and comply with the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 40, Part 85.
* The vehicle should have a minimum of 35 city, 36 highway, and 35 combined miles per gallon.
* The van should have a range of safety features, including 10 airbags, anti-lock brakes, and electronic brake force distribution.
* The successful bidder will be required to provide two copies of the owner-operator manual and service/repair manual.
* The vehicle should be completely serviced and in full operational condition upon delivery.
