Description
The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide and install washers, dryers, and built-in electric cooktops on Joint Base Andrews (JBA). The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, and other items and services to perform the work. The contractor will also be responsible for maintaining the appliances and performing repairs as needed. Key features of the appliances include:
* Washers: 16-pound minimum washing clothing capacity, 3.5 cubic feet or greater, top-loading or front-loading, manually operated timer, adaptive water levels, multiple wash/spin speeds, and energy star qualified.
* Dryers: 14-pound minimum dry clothing capacity, 7.0 cubic feet or greater, two temperature settings, three cycles, thermostatic controlled temperatures, and energy star qualified.
* Cooktops: 21" cooktops with 2 coil elements, compact design, and removable drip bowls.
The contractor will be required to establish a preventive maintenance program, inspect appliances for corrosion, and respond to service calls within 48-72 hours. The contractor will also be required to provide accurate reports and maintain a service log.
