CREMATION AND BURIAL SERVICES - DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH - IFB 2025-11-2224

The St. Louis County Department of Public Health is soliciting bids for cremation and burial services. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing cremation services, including decedent transport, cremation, storage of remains, and processing of death certificates. The contractor must comply with all laws and ordinances concerning licensing, accreditation, and regulations of their service as required by the State of Missouri and St. Louis County. The contractor will be notified by the County Medical Examiner when a decedent is ready for pickup, and the contractor must arrange for pickup within 3 working days of notification. The contractor must also provide individual storage containers for the cremated remains and store them in a proper and respectable manner according to local laws and regulations. • The contract term is expected to be 3 years, with one 2-year renewal option. • The contractor must provide all necessary labor, machinery, tools, and equipment to perform the work. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations governing the conduct of business in St. Louis County and the State of Missouri. • The contractor must provide a Fees List with their bid. • The contractor must complete and submit the Bid Form included in the solicitation.
