Description
The City of Worcester is seeking a qualified process‑server to provide inspectional services for a two‑year period. The contractor will deliver legal process throughout Worcester County and the rest of Massachusetts, with a few out‑of‑state trips, and must furnish proof of service within 24 hours of each delivery. Licensing, insurance, and background‑check requirements are strict, and subcontracting within Worcester County requires prior City approval.
• Up to 4,000 in‑county process‑server trips (same‑day or next‑day delivery)
• 1,200 out‑of‑county (MA) trips, same‑day/next‑day
• 5 out‑of‑state trips, delivery within 2 business days
