Progressive Design-Build of the Rangeline Road Water Treatment Facility

The City of Port St. Lucie is seeking a qualified Design-Build Team to design, furnish, and construct a new 10 MGD Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water Treatment Plant with potential for future expansion to 30 MGD. The project includes planning, design, permitting, construction, and other services necessary to deliver a 'turnkey' project. Key objectives include regulatory compliance, meeting the schedule, flexibility and future proofing, operations and maintenance, funding, costs, risk register, and safety. • The City is ranked as one of the fastest growing cities in the country, creating a sharp increase in water supply demand. • The Utility Systems Department Master Plan forecasts that current water treatment capacity will be insufficient by 2030. • The selected Project Team will be expected to assist in grant reporting and requests for reimbursements. • The City is open to site layout suggestions to accommodate the future RO and surface water treatment plants. • The project includes additional building space to house the RO trains and other equipment, as well as office space for administration and operations personnel.
