EMERGENCY NOTICE: Quality Improvement and Utilization Management

The Department of Healthcare and Family Services is declaring a second 90-day emergency contract to continue to provide quality assurance and utilization review in the fee-for-service hospital inpatient setting, and in other settings and levels of care. The contract will be for the provision of Quality Improvement and Utilization Management services. • The contract is for a 90-day period, starting from the date of award. • The services will be provided in various settings, including hospital inpatient, hospital outpatient, psychiatric residential treatment facilities, long-term acute care hospitals, integrated health home, and community-based treatment. • The contract is an emergency notice, and the department is seeking a vendor to provide these services on a urgent basis. • The vendor will be required to provide quality assurance and utilization review services to ensure that the services provided are of high quality and are utilized efficiently.
