Description
Knox County is seeking bids for the provision of Fourteen (14) Passenger Vans. The vans must meet certain specifications, including compliance with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and the ability to operate in heavy, stop-and-go traffic. The contract will be awarded to the most responsive, responsible bidder who meets the specifications and presents the best value to the County. The contract is expected to last for one year, with an option to purchase up to 12 additional vehicles.
• The vans must have a minimum warranty of 36 months/36,000 miles, with no deductible.
• The manufacturer must provide descriptive literature and certify compliance with all applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.
• The vendor must state the delivery time in their bid, with delivery expected to be made within 90 days of receipt of the purchase order.
• The vendor must provide proof of financial and business capability.
• The contract will be subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the bid package, including payment terms and dispute resolution procedures.
