The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms that can provide Evidence Impound Tow and Storage Services for the Templeton Area office. The services include towing and storing vehicles, as well as other related tasks. The agreement term is anticipated to be effective from June 1, 2026, through May 31, 2029. The CHP intends to make a single agreement award to the responsive and responsible firm offering the lowest bid. The bidder must meet certain qualification requirements, including having a valid local city or county business license, being a Rotation Tow provider in good standing, and having a past record of sound business integrity.
• The bidder must perform at least 75% of the services and work to be performed.
• The bidder must comply with all terms and conditions addressed in the agreement.
• The bidder must have liability insurance that meets the requirements in Exhibit E.
• The bidder must provide proof of liability insurance before commencing services.
The CHP will evaluate bids based on the lowest price, and the contract award is subject to a complete review of the entire bid proposal for compliance and adherence to the IFB requirements.
