RFQ - Special Counsel - Workers' Compensation

The New Jersey Turnpike Authority is seeking a law firm or qualified attorney to serve as special workers’ compensation counsel for the Authority. The selected firm will be placed on a qualified list and may be awarded professional services agreements to handle all workers’ compensation litigation, settlements, and related advisory work for the Authority through August 12 2028. The engagement is billed on an hourly basis with strict invoicing, reporting, and insurance requirements. • Provide full‑service workers’ compensation representation, including motions, appeals, settlements, and coordination with the Authority’s claims manager and third‑party administrators. • Hourly rates are fixed at $250 for partners, $200 for associates, and $125 for legal assistants; invoices must be submitted monthly with detailed six‑minute time entries. • Mandatory compliance with extensive EEO, affirmative‑action, insurance, financial‑statement, and ownership‑disclosure documentation, plus quarterly budget meetings and annual performance reviews.
