UTMB is seeking vendor input on plant‑optimization software services for its campus‑wide chilled‑water utility plants (East and Central plants). The effort will involve delivering a software platform (cloud‑based or on‑premise) that can integrate with existing building automation systems—Climatec, Thermosystems, Convergentz, and future Iconics—providing real‑time control, dashboards, analytics, fault detection, and ongoing optimization support. Vendors must outline their experience, integration approach, hardware needs, implementation schedule, training, and high‑level pricing. The RFI will shape a later solicitation, so responses are purely informational.
• Real‑time supervisory control and optimization for chillers, pumps, and cooling towers.
• Integration with existing BAS platforms (Climatec, Thermosystems, Convergentz, Iconics) using standard protocols (BACnet, Modbus, OPC).
• Delivery of a full service package: software, optional field hardware, commissioning, training, remote monitoring, and support.
• Requirement to provide case studies, optimization methodology, energy‑savings estimates, cybersecurity posture, and a high‑level pricing structure.
• All responses due by May 4 2026, 3 PM CDT; questions must be submitted by April 24 2026 COB.
