Description
The County of Los Angeles is seeking bids for the purchase of an HPE MSL Tape Autoloader. The autoloader must be configured to order, factory integrated, and drop shipped from the manufacturer's plant upon receipt of the purchase order. The equipment must be new, unused, and come with a minimum of 1 year manufacturer warranty at no extra charge to the County. The bidder must be an authorized distributor/reseller/service provider for all products and services offered. The bid must include a copy of the signed bid package, along with a manufacturer's letter within 90 days of the bid due date, stating that the company is an authorized reseller.
• The bid must be submitted online via the County's Vendor Self Service (VSS) portal by 12:00 PM on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.
• The equipment must be compatible with the existing computer system to maintain overall system effectiveness.
• The bidder must provide a price quote for the equipment, including all required accessories and services.
• The County reserves the right to select the bidder that it determines to be the most responsive and responsible.
• The contract will be awarded based on the lowest total acceptable offer.
