Description
The Erie County Sheriff’s Office – Correctional Health Division seeks a qualified laboratory provider to deliver full‑service, 24‑hour/7‑day on‑site diagnostic testing for inmates at two county detention facilities. The vendor must staff licensed technologists at each location, integrate with existing EMR systems (Centricity and the upcoming CorrecTek), and supply all reporting, imaging, and invoicing requirements while meeting state and federal standards. The contract is for three years with possible one‑year extensions and includes obligations for training, quality assurance, and ongoing performance monitoring.
• Provide all routine and stat laboratory tests on‑site, 24/7, with defined cut‑off times and turnaround targets.
• Maintain NYS Department of Health certification and supply a free electronic interface to the County’s order manager and EMR platforms.
• Deliver hard‑copy imaging on CD, online utilization reports, and detailed monthly invoicing broken out by facility, patient, provider, and test.
• Conduct initial on‑site training, develop a QA program, and meet regularly with the Chief Medical Officer for performance reviews.
