Description
The Wake County Public School System is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide technical contracted resources for various technology initiatives, including application development, computer programming, and comprehensive application support. The selected vendors will provide contracted technical resources on an as-needed basis to supplement internal staff. The contract will be for an initial duration of 12 months, renewable for up to three additional one-year terms. The proposal should include a complete cost proposal, qualifications, relevant experience, and attachments.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing onboarding and payroll administration for staffing
• Criteria-based resource selection
• Candidate validation, including technical proficiency verification, reference checks, and soft skills assessment
• Quality assurance and performance standards
• Work location may be on-site, remote, or hybrid
• Services will be performed under the direct supervision and direction of WCPSS staff
• Vendors must be capable of providing application-specific services, general IT services, and project-specific services
• Vendors must demonstrate proven experience, knowledge, and expertise in providing services for specific applications utilized by the District
