The County of Santa Barbara is seeking bids for the construction of the Figueroa Mountain Communication Complex. The project involves providing and installing a 100’ radio tower, along with associated infrastructure such as a generator, propane tanks, shelter, electrical, HVAC, fencing, and coordination with PG&E for new service. The scope of work includes stamped Structural, Civil, and Electrical Engineering drawings, material, and labor for installation. • The project requires coordination with PG&E for approximately 200 LF of trenching, conduit, inspections, and backfill for new service. • The project funding amount will be disclosed before the first bid is opened. • The lowest responsible bidder will be determined based on the Total Base Bid plus Total Additive Items or Total Base Bid plus Total Additive Groups. • The project must be completed within 365 calendar days after the date stated in the COUNTY's written Notice to Proceed.
