Description
The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs is seeking to award a purchase order for personal laundry services to be provided to the Southwestern Veterans Center. The services include laundering resident basic personal items such as shirts, trousers, blouses, dresses, socks, undergarments, etc. The awarded contractor shall provide all laundry supplies needed to perform these services. The contract will be for a period of one year with four optional renewal years.
• The contractor shall pick up soiled laundry three times a week and deliver clean laundry on the same days.
• The contractor shall provide all laundry carts and ensure they are clean and free of mechanical deficiencies.
• The contractor shall keep the linen carts clean and free of mechanical deficiencies.
• The contractor shall ensure an adequate supply of hangers, bins, carts, etc., to provide these services.
• The contractor shall provide SWVC a monthly sanitation log listing the trucks, date, and sanitation product used.
• The contractor shall be responsible for any lost or damaged items during the cleaning process.
