Intercity Bus Atlas: Expansion and Maintenance

The U.S. Department of Transportation is seeking a contractor to help expand and maintain the Intercity Bus Atlas (ICBA) project. The ICBA is a web mapping application that shows the stops and routes of all scheduled bus services in the United States. The contractor will be responsible for providing direct access to up-to-date schedule and route network data, performing outreach to industry to acquire missing data, and providing support related to the Atlas. The contract will be a Hybrid (Firm-Fixed Price and Time & Materials) Type Contract. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing direct access to up-to-date schedule and route network data for all scheduled intercity bus providers • Performing outreach to industry to acquire missing data • Providing support related to the Atlas • Developing a project management and work plan • Updating the ICBA on a regular basis
