Description
The Teacher Retirement System of Texas is seeking a consultant to conduct an economic impact study of its pension and healthcare payments. The selected consultant will be required to provide a written report that includes contextual analysis of all related findings. The study will be performed biennially, in even-numbered years. The consultant will be expected to have prior experience in providing economic analysis for governmental or nonprofit entities comparable to TRS. Some key responsibilities of the consultant include:
• Providing a brief organizational overview highlighting prior experience in providing economic analysis
• Submitting documentation to verify continuous operation performing economic analysis for at least four years
• Describing internal resources including physical office location, data analysis software, and key roles such as consultant, data analyst, and research analyst
• Conducting assessments of the economic impacts of TRS' pension and healthcare payments
• Providing a written report that includes contextual analysis of all related findings
