Key features and requirements of the system include:
• Benchtop, unit mass resolution single quadrupole mass spectrometer compatible with the Thermo ICS-5000+ ion chromatograph
• Full bidirectional integration with Chromeleon 7 CDS software
• Heated electrospray ionization (HESI) probe with flow rate range from single-digit µL/min to 2 mL/min minimum
• Mass-to-charge (m/z) range: 10 to 1250 u minimum; unit mass resolution across entire range
• Scan rate: up to 20,000 Da/s minimum; polarity switching ≤25 milliseconds
• Dynode electron multiplier detector with dynamic range ≥10⁷
• PC workstation with Windows 11, minimum 1TB storage, and Ethernet/Wi-Fi connectivity
• Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) with minimum 15-minute runtime at full load
• Chromeleon 7 CDS with MS spectral license, fully installed and configured
