Description
The Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide Paratransit Operations & Management Services for its demand-response service programs, including the Federally mandated Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) complementary paratransit service and the PVTA Senior Service (Dial-A-Ride) program. The selected contractor will also assist PVTA in piloting fixed-routes and providing micro-transit services. Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing operations and management services for PVTA's demand-response service programs
• Assisting PVTA in piloting fixed-routes and providing micro-transit services
• Complying with federal and state laws, including regulations and statutes applicable to equal employment opportunity
• Providing accessible, safe, reliable, cost-effective service to citizens of the Pioneer Valley
The contract is subject to a financial assistance contract between PVTA and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA).
