Description
The State of Alaska, Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA), is soliciting quotes for the replacement of a 300-gallon water heater located in Hangar 12, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER). The contractor will be responsible for uninstalling the current water heater and installing a new one, including all necessary labor, materials, and equipment. The project must be completed within 45 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed.
• The water heater replacement project requires a new gas water heater with a minimum of 199,000 BTU/h input, 115V, and 300-gallon storage capacity.
• The contractor must provide a functionality test after installation and ensure that all work is done in accordance with Unified Facility Code and Department of Defense specifications.
• The contractor must also provide all necessary materials, equipment, labor, maintenance, transportation, lodging, and per-diem to complete the scope of work.
• The value of this contract shall not exceed $120,000.00 unless a written change order to the contract is issued by the Procurement Specialist.
