KSSD/KSSB Campus Security Services

The Kansas School for the Deaf and Blind is seeking competitive proposals from qualified vendors to provide Security Services on the KSSD & KSSB campus. The contract will be for a period of approximately 40 months, with the option to renew for an additional 24 months. The vendor will be required to provide unarmed private security guards, with the possibility of overtime and special event coverage. The vendor must have at least five years of experience in providing security services for schools or similar institutions and must provide references from at least three clients with similar child-focused residential facilities. • Security services for the KSSD and KSSB campuses • Unarmed private security guards • Overtime and special event coverage • Background checks for all personnel • Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
