Enterprise Video Surveillance and Access Control System

The Cobb County Government is seeking qualified firms to provide enterprise video surveillance and access control systems, as well as perform upgrades required by the county. The selected vendor will be responsible for conducting interviews with key department contacts, reviewing and advising on camera locations, access card readers, infrastructure, and ancillary equipment. The vendor will also explore the reuse of current equipment, consider industry trends, and provide a detailed formal quote/proposal for the specific department. The contract term will be for a period of 5 years from the date of award. Some key points to consider: • The county currently has Avigilon access control and surveillance cameras installed in its facilities. • The vendor will be required to manage all aspects of the installation and implementation of the new system. • The vendor will be asked to accommodate maintenance requests on any systems they install. • The county reserves the right to seek the services of other vendors for projects requiring specialized or unique services.
