Description
The State of Louisiana, Office of State Procurement, is seeking bids for the purchase of two 12-yard snow plow dump trucks for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD). The trucks must meet the specifications outlined in Attachment B, which includes a Freightliner 144SD/International HX cab and chassis, and a Viking Cives western style dump body, or equal. Bidders must be licensed by the Louisiana Motor Vehicle Commission and include a copy of a valid dealer's license with their bid. The bid price must include delivery of all items F.O.B. destination, and payment will be made within 30 days after receipt of a properly executed invoice or delivery.
• The contract may be extended for 2 additional 12-month periods, making the total contract term up to 36 months.
• The State of Louisiana reserves the right to terminate the contract for convenience or cause.
• Bidders must comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, including the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and Energy Policy and Conservation Act.
• The bid price must include all applicable taxes, and the bidder must indemnify the State of Louisiana against any claims or actions arising from the contract.
