E-Rate Internet Access Services

The County of Hennepin is seeking proposals for E-Rate Internet Access Services. The services should be dedicated, ethernet-based, and have a high bandwidth. The County requires internet service immediately scalable up to 10 Gbps with a tiered rate schedule that is capable of scaling upwards of 20 Gbps. The contract will commence on March 1, 2026, and expire on June 30, 2029, with options for renewal. • The proposed services should meet the service capabilities outlined in Attachment 1. • The Proposer should have experience with E-Rate compliance and provide a valid SPIN number. • The Proposer should be able to provide cost-effective contracts with low latency and maximum uptime and resiliency. • The Proposer should support dynamic BGP routing for internet route table propagation and maintenance. • The Proposer should have local control over infrastructure.
