Invitation to Big - 9th Street Ne Water Main Replacement, (Office File 1848.0)

The City of Great Falls is seeking bids for the construction of the 9th Street Ne Water Main Replacement project. The project consists of replacing approximately 1,500 lineal feet of 16-inch PVC water main, 437 lineal feet of 8-inch and 6-inch PVC water main, and other related tasks. The contractor will be required to obtain registration with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry and ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against. The contract requires the contractor to provide a Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. • The project requires the replacement of 5 fire hydrants and 20 - ¾-inch water service connections • The contractor must provide 453 Lineal Feet of ¾” Copper water service line • The project includes the installation of 12 Handicap Accessible Curb Ramps and 3,300 Square Yards of 2” asphalt mill and overlay • The contractor must ensure compliance with the laws of the City of Great Falls and the State of Montana regarding wages and labor practices • The contractor must be licensed to perform work in the City of Great Falls prior to contract award
