R--AJCC API License

The United States Department of the Interior, Interior Business Center, Acquisition Services Directorate, intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) for a license to access the AJCC Cancer Staging System, including API access. The license will be used to support cancer research and patient care by integrating the AJCC system into the National Cancer Institute's (NCI) Enterprise Vocabulary Services (EVS) Program. The NCI will use the licensed content to provide standardized, interoperable, and authoritative cancer staging data. • The contract will have a one-year base period and two one-year option periods. • The AJCC Cancer Staging System is a comprehensive classification of neoplasms. • The system will be integrated into the NCI Thesaurus (NCIt) and will support various NCI programs and initiatives. • Interested parties may submit capabilities statements to be considered for the contract.
