The University of Alaska Anchorage is soliciting bids to replace three underground heating‑oil fuel tanks at its PWSC student‑housing site in Valdez, Alaska. The work includes complete removal and disposal of the existing below‑grade tanks, installation of three new above‑ground double‑wall tanks with associated fuel piping, and site‑work such as back‑filling, concrete sidewalk replacement, and temporary heating for occupied buildings. A separate bid item covers the removal and disposal of contaminated soil (estimated 75 tons) on a unit‑price basis.
