TORNADO SAFE ROOM REBID AT CITY OF MITCHELL CAMPGROUND

The City of Mitchell is seeking bids for the construction of a tornado safe room at the City of Mitchell Campground. The project includes furnishing all materials, labor, supervision, tools, and equipment necessary or incidental to the work. Bids will be received until 1:30 PM on February 12, 2026, and will be publicly opened and read in the City Council Chambers of City Hall. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract within ten days after the notice of award is delivered. • The bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bank draft in an amount of no less than five percent of the bid. • The City of Mitchell reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. • Plans and specifications are available on the City of Mitchell's website or at the office of the City Engineer. • A preference will be given to goods, products, or materials produced in the United States.
