Zero-Emission Electric Forklifts (36,000 lbs.) at APM Terminals at the Port of Los Angeles

The City of Los Angeles Harbor Department has been awarded EPA funding for the Port of Los Angeles Clean Ports Program, which focuses on deploying zero emissions port equipment at the Port of Los Angeles. This RFP is for the procurement and deployment of two (2) battery-electric forklifts, which shall be delivered at the APM Terminal Pier 400. The forklifts must meet specific technical specifications, including zero tailpipe emissions, onboard powertrain, and battery-electric technologies. Proposers must provide detailed responses to all questions contained in the document “Questionnaire_Electric Forklifts” and complete the technical specifications, questionnaire, and quotation template. The evaluation criteria will include technical evaluation, commercial evaluation, and contractual terms. • The RFP package includes a draft contract and a contractual key terms sheet for the Proposers’ review. • Proposers must confirm compliance with all minimum requirements and provide supporting documentation. • The selected Proposer will be required to provide training, documentation, and spare parts, and to comply with EPA grant requirements and City of Los Angeles requirements. • The contract will be awarded based on the proposal that best demonstrates technical competency, cost competitiveness, and contractual assurance.
