Description

The University of South Carolina’s Brain Health program seeks a complete accessory package for its NordicNeuroLab In‑Room Viewing Device, to be integrated with existing NordicNeuroLab fMRI systems and Siemens 3 T and 7 T MRI scanners. The package must be MRI‑compatible and include power, data transmission, and cabling components. This is a straightforward procurement of hardware accessories rather than a services contract. • Provide an MRI‑compatible LCD power supply. • Supply fiber‑optic cables and a fiber‑link transmitter with associated cabling. • Ensure full compatibility with current NordicNeuroLab fMRI equipment and Siemens 3 T/7 T MRI scanners. • Deliver and install the accessory package at the university’s research facility before the bid deadline. • Meet all university procurement and safety standards for medical imaging equipment.

Budget estimate

$50,000 – $200,000

The accessory package likely includes a high‑grade MRI‑compatible LCD power supply, fiber‑optic transmission hardware, and custom cabling. Similar medical imaging accessory procurements range from $50,000 for basic configurations to $200,000 for fully integrated, custom‑engineered solutions. Factors influencing price include the specific power rating of the LCD, length and type of fiber‑optic cable, any required certifications, and installation/validation services. Therefore, a reasonable earnings estimate for the supplier would be between $50 k and $200 k.
