Maintenance and As-Needed Repair for Two Walk-In Freezers

The County of San Mateo is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive maintenance and repair services for two walk-in freezers at the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office Forensic Laboratory. The services shall include quarterly inspections and maintenance of the refrigeration systems, preventive maintenance, and as-needed repairs. The contractor must comply with the latest standards and regulations, including California Mechanical Code, California Electrical Code, and Environmental Protection Agency regulations. The contractor must also maintain open and clear communication with County staff and provide detailed service reports for each maintenance visit and repair. • The contractor must respond within 4-8 hours of receiving an emergency service call and schedule and complete non-emergency repairs within 72 hours. • The contractor must provide high-quality replacement parts and materials that meet or exceed OEM specifications. • The contractor must coordinate with County staff to schedule maintenance visits and provide advance notice of scheduled maintenance visits and any required downtime for repairs. • The contractor must ensure that all work areas are kept clean and free of debris during and after maintenance and repair activities.
