Description
Invest Atlanta is seeking qualified consultants to provide redevelopment planning services for multiple Tax Allocation Districts (TADs) as part of the Atlanta Neighborhood Reinvestment Initiative. The selected firms will support redevelopment planning efforts focused on historically underserved and disinvested communities and will help advance the goals of the Neighborhood Reinvestment Initiative. The scope of services includes existing conditions analysis, community engagement, redevelopment planning, financial and implementation strategies, and redevelopment plan documentation.
• The selected firms will work with Invest Atlanta and the TAD Advisory Committees (TADACs) to develop corresponding three-year Investment Plans that identify targeted projects, funding priorities, and anticipated community impacts.
• The firms will also provide support for community engagement, stakeholder identification, and public communication.
• The scope of services may include urban planning, economic development, housing and anti-displacement policy, TAD/TIF financing, community engagement and facilitation, real estate market analysis, GIS and mapping, transportation and infrastructure planning, urban design and placemaking, public finance, equity analysis, and environmental planning and resilience.
