Advanced Instruments Services

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a one-year, sole-source, firm-fixed-price, commercial services contract to Advanced Instruments, LLC for the purchase of an Artel MVS Advanced Care Plus BIO Service Agreement. The contract includes annual calibrator plate recertification, preventative maintenance services, travel costs, and a one-year extended warranty coverage for three instruments. The FBI Quality Assurance Standards (QAS) require that accredited DNA laboratories undergo performance check procedures on instrumentation that is deemed critical to the processing and generation of DNA profiles.
