The US Air Force is seeking to purchase a replacement Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM) from Carl Zeiss Microscopy, LLC. The requested equipment includes a GeminiSEM 460 FE-SEM, Carl Zeiss Software and Perpetual License for SmartSEM, and various detectors and accessories. The vendor will provide on-site installation, verification, and training, as well as a 2-year on-site parts and labor warranty. The key features of the project include: • GeminiSEM 460 FE-SEM • Carl Zeiss Software and Perpetual License for SmartSEM • In-lens SE detector and in-lens EsB detector • 2x 34” Ultra widescreen LCD Monitors and Monitor holder • Control Panel with rotary controls/keyboard (US English) • 40nA Maximum resolution configuration • SEM Workstation (PC) (enhanced with higher computing power: Storage, RAM, CPU, etc) The project requires the vendor to provide a comprehensive solution, including equipment, software, and training, to meet the US Air Force's needs.
