Description
The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to Western Distributing Company for Secure Sensitive Freight. The contract requires a commercially available armored transport service company capable of providing secure shipment of materials from DEVCOM-SC Natick, MA to customer intermediary located within MA. The freight service provider must be bonded and certified to carry United States Category III Securities within the state of Massachusetts.
• The contract has a base period of 08 April 2026 to 07 April 2027, with four option periods.
• The contract value is $86,780.00.
• The contractor must ensure the confidentiality of all information regarding U.S. securities shipments routes and schedules.
• The over-the-road transportation of U.S. securities will be performed by an armored vehicle.
• The vehicle must be equipped with appropriate licenses, permits, weapons, gas masks, fire extinguishers, and radio/telephone equipment.
