RFP - Outdoor LED Marquee Sign

The City of Knoxville is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the design, supply, and installation of an outdoor LED marquee sign for the Knoxville Civic Auditorium and Coliseum. The marquee will serve as a high-visibility communication tool to convey important messages to the community and must be durable, energy-efficient, and feature-rich to meet environmental and operational needs. Key requirements include automatic brightness dimming, manual brightness control, LED protection, recessed LED modules, remote management via Wi-Fi, and user-friendly software. The vendor must also provide warranty and support services, including a minimum of 5 years of parts warranty and extended warranty options. • The marquee must be sized to fit within the existing cabinet measuring 21 feet 6 inches wide x 77 inches high x 39 inches deep. • The vendor must provide detailed technical specifications, including display resolution, pixel pitch, and connectivity and control interface. • The vendor must demonstrate proven experience with similar outdoor marquee installations and provide references from at least three clients within the last five years. • The vendor must comply with local code and safety requirements. • The vendor must provide a total cost breakdown, including hardware, software, installation, warranty options, and support plans.
