PGC-Object Storage Solution

The Polar Geospatial Center (PGC) at the University of Minnesota is seeking a vendor to provide an object‑based storage solution capable of at least 40 PiB of usable capacity initially, with scalability for future growth. The solution must support frequent access to remote‑sensing imagery and digital elevation data, functioning as near‑line storage rather than deep archive. Two architectural paths are acceptable: a cloud‑based (with optional on‑premise hybrid) design or a fully on‑premise design.
