Towing and Recovery Services for WCAA Vehicles and Equipment

The Wayne County Airport Authority is seeking quotes for towing and recovery services for its vehicles and equipment on an as-needed basis at both Detroit Metropolitan Airport and Willow Run Airport. The contract will be for a term of three years with two optional one-year renewals. The successful respondent will be required to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for the services. The respondent must have a minimum of three years' experience providing vehicle and equipment towing and recovery services, including towing large vehicles. Some key responsibilities include responding to towing requests within one hour, providing towing services 24/7, and maintaining various towing equipment. • Towing services for vehicles and equipment • Special hauling of Airport Authority equipment via trailer • Repairs such as pulling axles, plugging or capping and packing of nuts, bolts, and axles • Airing up brake systems • Maintaining towing equipment in good working order • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Michigan Motor Vehicle Code
