Qualified Scheduling Entity Services

New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) is seeking a qualified scheduling entity (QSE) to provide QSE services, including registration with ERCOT, scheduling, and settlement of energy trades. The selected QSE will manage NBU's Congestion Revenue Rights (CRR) account and provide market information. The scope of work includes general services, scheduling, ancillary services bidding, bilateral transaction scheduling, communication, and market information. The contract term is expected to be one year with up to four additional one-year terms. • The QSE will be responsible for registering NBU as a Subordinate QSE and managing the CRR account. • The QSE will provide scheduling services, including submitting energy trades, capacity trades, and ancillary service trades. • The QSE will provide market information, including real-time prices, energy and ancillary services bids and offers, and market bulletins. • The QSE will be responsible for communicating with ERCOT and NBU regarding scheduling discrepancies and emergency conditions.
